Niche.com recently released its list of the best places to live in the country in 2022 and Holly Hills, a neighborhood in the metro area, took the number one spot for Colorado. It also ranked 16th in places to live in the nation and 9th among suburbs.

Holly Hills has gotten plenty of praise before as one of the better places to live in the United States and continues topping the charts.

Niche.com uses data from the Census, FBI and their own resident ratings to determine the rankings. According to reviews, Holly Hills residents love it for being family-friendly, near Cherry Creek, and for short commute times.

Holly Hills probably isn’t the first place that comes to mind when many think of Colorado. It’s an Arapahoe County community located halfway between downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center, near plenty of open space. About 2,800 people live in Holly Hills, with a median household income of $132,955, according to Niche.

Living in Holly Hills offers residents a rural feel and most residents own their homes. The area features a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many families choose Holly Hills as the public schools there are highly rated.

In 2022, Niche also ranked Holly Hills the best place to raise a family in Colorado, as well as the number one place to buy a home.
