According to a recent market trends report from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, sellers listed 5,425 homes on the market in October, which is a 10.1% drop from September. It’s the

Redfin says it developed the list based off the activity of its website users. The company then “tallied hundreds of millions of pages they visited and homes they added as favorites to monitor for price changes or sales.”
Redfin reported that the City Park neighborhood in Colorado has seen a 276 percent growth in page views on its site over the last year. It pegged median prices in the neighborhood at $394,500.
Industry experts agree that City Park is known for its charming mid-century bungalows that often have large yards, which are ideal for young families. Add to that the 10-minute commute from downtown Denver and you’ve got a hotspot worthy of the notoriety.
Redfin said that, like City Park, most of the top-rated neighborhoods offered affordable prices and short commutes either by car or public transit.
Real estate experts note that since home prices are on the rise, people are often looking for still-close-in but often-overlooked neighborhoods in search of affordability, even if means less-fashionable restaurants or a home that needs a little more work. This trend is indicative that today’s buyers are determining a reasonable price range and sticking to their budgets.
Topping Redfin’s hot-neighborhood list is the Bernal Heights North Slope area of San Francisco, where homes go for a median $982,500.
